Are Your Veterinary Clients Missing Out on Your Fab Facebook Posts?

Posted in Social Media @ Jul 17th 2012 8:53pm - By Judy Gillespie

Have you noticed that you may not have seen many updates or posts from some of the Facebook Business Pages you've 'Liked' from your personal Facebook page? Maybe you just assumed they had been too busy to post much .... or maybe you just hadn't noticed that posts were missing.  This lack of posts getting through to your personal page may be due to the introduction of Facebook's new 'Promoted Posts' as well the complicated Edgerank algorithm that Facebook uses to rate every post.

And I hate to tell you, but exactly the same thing may be happening to all those fabulous posts and updates from your veterinary Business Page....  they may not be getting through to all of your 'Likers' either.

Even worse - you might be missing out on some of the fabulous posts from Vetanswers!!

It's ok though - I've done a bit of research and although it's hard to know anything for sure with Facebook you can try this quick fix to get the posts you want to see back onto your newsfeed.  Try it out on Vetanswers Facebook Page first of course.

  1. Go to the Vetanswers Facebook Page and others that you especially like to receive posts from.
  2. Click on the 'Liked' button under our cover photo of Nina.
  3. Click on the 'Show in News Feed' option

Now you should continue to receive all the posts from the pages you really want to hear from.  Don't forget to click on the odd 'Like' or add a 'Comment' to the posts you appreciate so that way Facebook gets an even better idea on what posts to send through to your Newsfeed.

Ahh Facebook ... it can be a complicated process sometimes!

AND..... of course you need to share this with your Business Page 'Likers' as well so they can keep receiving all of your fabulous Facebook posts as well!
