Veterinarians Views Of Pet Owners Use Of The Internet For Pet Health Information 2

Veterinarian living and practising in Australia? We need your help..

We are asking for Australian vets to help us learn more about the use of the internet by pet owners for pet health information.

There is a wealth of information about almost every pet health condition on the internet.

However, limited research has been conducted within Australia to investigate the use of the internet by pets owners and the associated impacts this has on the client-vet relationship.

Therefore, Dr. Lori Kogan (Colorado State University, USA), Mr. James Oxley (Independent Researcher) and Dr. Susan Hazel (University of Adelaide) are working together to investigate this area in more detail.

We would be grateful if veterinarians who live in Australia and work with pet owners could complete the following survey:

Australian Veterinary Survey – Veterinarians’ views of pet owners’ use of the internet for pet health information

Who is eligible to take part?

Veterinarians who live and practice in Australia

How long will it take me to complete the survey?

The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete.

Will my participation be confidential?

Yes, all participation will be confidential. The data will be anonymous and will contain no information that could lead to the identity of individuals.

Where can I get more information?

If you have questions about this research please contact Dr. Lori Kogan (Lori.Kogan@ColoState.EDU)
