Code Yellow! Code Yellow!

No not really - but I think I'll start using this one when Isabel has one of her elderly mishaps in the house! 

I came across this blog post from dvm360 – Use code words in veterinary practice by the always entertaining Dr Andy Roark.

In the Post he discusses the often humorous ways important messages can be conveyed in a more palatable way by using code words.  He also believes they can also protect client’s feelings and help to make them more comfortable in often difficult situations.  For example using the term “nose warmer” rather than “muzzle” or “Code Yellow” for the obvious pet accidents!
