One of the aims of Vetanswers is to publish and promote as many blog posts for the veterinary industry as possible, on any topic that might be of interest to you – although that's a pretty wide net I’m casting I know.
And this is where you come in.
I’d love to publish whatever you would like to write, on whatever topic/s that interest you.
You don’t have to be an experienced blogger.
You don’t even have to be the best writer in the world – if necessary, I’m pretty good at tidying things up a bit, adding in headings, etc. so that your writing still sounds exactly like you.
What would our veterinary Community like to read about?
Just to give you an idea, some of the topics I know our Community would love to read about are:
- Information on your area/s of expertise or success
- Interesting case studies
- “You may not believe this…” stories
- Things you love about your job
- Things you find challenging about your job
- Lessons you’ve learned that you’d like to share
- How you manage the challenging mental health aspects of working in the veterinary industry

Challenging and provacative is good but….
Just one thing – although I don’t want to steer away from talking about the challenging aspects of the veterinary industry, I also don’t want to dwell on the negatives. So Vetanswers is probably not the right blog if you just want to have a whinge. If you have a problem and you’re asking for advice – that’s fine and I’m sure our Community would love to help, but complaining about pet owners, your manager or the industry in general is not going to be that helpful for any of us.
SO …no matter what your job is within the veterinary industry I would love to hear from you.
There are just two things:
1. You must be a Vetanswers member – it's FREE for everyone to join (just click here)
2. If you work for a veterinary supplier your business must be a part of the Vetanswers Business Directory – we offer a range of FREE and paid membership packages – click here for more
So now all you need to do is…
- A word doc – anywhere from a couple of hundred words to 1000+ is fine
- An image of you and a short, 100 word bio (see other Vetanswers blog posts for inspiration)
- Any links you’d like me to add in e.g. website, social media
- Images you would like included in your blog post (just make sure you have permission to use them)
And I’ll do the rest!
We're a Community which means we can share our knowledge, experiences and concerns.
Feel free to email me with any questions you may have or …just open a new word doc and start typing then email it to me: [email protected]
