make Vet Answers my homepage

Vetanswers needs YOU!

Posted in Our Community @ Apr 17th 2012 5:45pm - By Judy Gillespie

I spend a lot of time reading & researching on the internet.  I come across so many interesting articles, thoughts, resources and opinions that either relate to or would be useful for the veterinary industry.  Much of this interesting information is from the USA, Canada & the UK and although the information is still useful, it’s not..... well.... Australian.

I’d really like to start building the Vetanswers community by encouraging & helping to promote more Australian knowledge, opinions and thoughts in the veterinary industry.

Want to join us?

If you’ve got something to say but don’t necessarily want to start blogging regularly, or you don’t want the hassle of setting up your own ‘Blogspot’ or ‘Wordpress’, etc. site then why not think about writing a blog for Vetanswer?

It doesn’t have to be very long - 200 to 400 words is fine and you might be surprised by how many people are interested in what you have to say. (Just to give you an idea – this blog is 297 words long)

You might like to write about:

  • Things you love about your job
  • Things you’d like to change in your industry
  • What you think the veterinary industry could do better
  • Why you chose to work in the veterinary industry
  • Something amazing that happened in your practice
  • Some of the interesting things you see every day
  • A funny incident (maybe think about changing names to protect the innocent ;-)  )

Or you may have something totally different in mind.

Of course if you already blog – make sure you let me know so I can promote your blog to our community as well.

Together we can talk, discuss and comment on issues that are important to our Australian community – want to join us?
