Veterinary Rabbit Cephalic Rating Veterinary Expert Consultation

Are you a veterinarian that works with Rabbits?

If yes, we need your help in rating rabbit facial/skull features. This survey will ask you to rate images of rabbits with different face shapes according to how brachycephalic or dolichocephalic they appear to you.

Project Aim:

The aim of the overall project is to assess rabbit owners’ preference for facial features/skull shape, to help us gain an understanding of how these features influence how appealing a rabbit is to a potential owner.

Before we can do this we need the help of veterinarians with rabbit specialties in classifying a set of 25 semi-standardised images of rabbit faces according to the degree of cephalism.

Who's involved?

This work is part of a collaborative project between the School of Veterinary Science and Medicine at the University of Nottingham, Nottingham Trent University and two independent researchers. It should take between 10 – 20 minutes.

We will not ask for your name, email or any identifiable information, and all data you provide will be provided anonymously for the purpose of research only.

It would be helpful if you could also please share this post with colleagues who work with rabbits.
