Yes There Is Something You Can Do To Better Understand Your Team 250x250

Practice Managers, Team Leaders, Coordinators:  whatever they might be called in your veterinary practice, are all essentially in the same business – the people business.

We rely on the people in these roles to lead, motivate and mobilise the ‘human resources’ in our practices in order to meet daily operational needs, satisfy our clients and ultimately guide us towards our business vision.

Often, however, our Practice Managers are left fighting fires and dealing with personality clashes and miscommunications.  Having the ability to “speak the language” of each individual in the team can begin to clear the way to....

  • More streamlined communication,
  • Diminished interpersonal conflict,
  • Clear and effective delegation and
  • A renewed focus on the needs of the business.

There's a tool that can help....

DISC profiling is a behavioural assessment tool that can help managers understand their own styles, and also the styles of the individuals in their teams.  The more managers are able to understand the style and tendencies of those they work with, the more they will be able to relate, give direction and provide support.

The DISC profiling tool allows us to:

  • Understand behavioral strengths and challenges in yourself and others
  • Enhance leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
  • Improve communication skills by matching communication styles
  • Reduce personal and organizational conflict, stress and turnover
  • Develop strategies and awareness to deal with a diversity of people, their communication styles and needs
  • Reduce stress and achieve optimal work/life balance

If you would like the opportunity to undertake a DISC profile and unlock these powerful leadership and communication skills in yourself, register now for Crampton Consulting Group’s Practice Management School in Brisbane from 30th Oct – 3rd November 2017.
