1. They are absolute experts at…..
AVRA are the absolute experts at….Connections! For any community, the individual’s success is crucial to the group’s overall success. We believe that supporting each other is vital to achieving this success, and that starts with a good connection. We connect our members with like-minded individuals within a vibrant online community, to our extensive range of resources to help build and develop their skills, and to organisations offering support to those in our industry.
By working with other organisations within the veterinary and animal communities, we can connect our members to other beneficial resources and supports outside of ourselves. These connections develop into strong long-term relationships, bringing success to all of us in the industry. Our focus is supporting and developing the front-of-house, customer care and management teams within veterinary clinics. However, we are connected with and actively support the organisations working alongside us to create long-lasting change within the veterinary industry.

The one thing that makes AVRA different from its competitors is that we are not just a course provider! We are working to change the career progression outcomes for our administration and customer care teams in clinics. We advocate for the immense value and critical importance of these roles and provide educational content to develop the skill set of these workers.
While we provide educational content, we also work to be the support network for our administration and customer care teams. We share resources, provide advice, and actively engage with our community to make decisions affecting the future of all Veterinary reception, management and administration teams. We are the registration body for Associate Veterinary Receptionists in Australia & New Zealand.
