Harry is a mental health counsellor. He helps his clients to step back from the day-to-day, to explore personal challenges, put some perspective around the experience of living, and feel better equipped to move forward through life.
Due to the nature of Harry’s work, our usual ‘3 questions’ have been modified
1. About Harry…
Harry Corsham is a psychotherapist with an interest in the emotional challenges experienced by many people in the veterinary sector.
He is a mature mental health practitioner with a passion for group therapy. Harry is running a dedicated online support group for individuals in the veterinary sector. If you work in the Australian veterinary sector and mental health is on your mind, consider signing-up for one of the remaining spots in this confidential group program, starting on 9 April.
2. One thing that drives Harry…
One thing that drives Harry is a belief in the ability of any individual to adapt and grow and become better able to handle the challenges that life throws at us.
In particular Harry believes that people can take enormous value from exploring their emotional wellbeing in a group setting – learning about themselves through their interaction with others.
3. Harry can help you….
Harry can help you to develop a greater sense of emotional wellbeing through a non-judgemental group program, outside the professional setting.
This online program involves weekly sessions in which a group of up to 10 people working in the veterinary sector come together in a safe environment for 90-minute interactive discussions facilitated by a professional counsellor. Over the course of these regular sessions the interaction between group members can lead to an experience of interpersonal learning for all group members, which can be applied at work and in daily life.
If you recognise a vulnerability to stress, anxiety, burn-out, low mood or depression in yourself or those around you, you can join this independent, confidential group to share experiences with like-minded individuals from across Australia’s veterinary sector.
