Dr. Olivia James BVSc (hons) MANZCVS (Eq Dentistry) CMAVA DICEVO DAVDC (Equine). Founder and Director of The Equine Practice Company and The Veterinary Dental Company. Olivia has been an equine veterinarian since 2003 and in 2018 she sold her equine veterinary practice to support her husband's career with an interstate move. With a young family and suddenly more time on her hands, she threw herself into finishing an advanced standing residency in veterinary equine dentistry with AVDC. The Veterinary Dental Company was created after she volunteered with Animal Aid Abroad in the Gili Islands, Indonesia and saw the need for online equine education material. The Veterinary Dental Company has since been used by veterinarians in over 18 countries around the world. The Equine Practice Company was created after Olivia immersed herself in personal development and business education. She believes we each have a true calling in life, and is blessed to be able to support and contribute to the lives of her colleagues in the veterinary community.
