Clinical, Leadership, Wellness Veterinary Nurse and Research Streams Planned for Connect26
Greencross Connect26 will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on 7–8 November 2026, bringing together veterinarians and veterinary nurses for two days of clinical, leadership, communication, wellness and research-focused education.

Saturday Masterclasses
Saturday morning masterclasses will cover a range of clinical topics, including:
- Managing the feline diabetic patient
- Emerging technologies in cancer management
- Periodontal disease
- Point-of-care blood testing for emergency and critical care nurses
Featured Speakers
Our clinical program is headlined by internationally recognised expert Dr Serge Chalhoub (University of Calgary), alongside an outstanding line-up including Dr Luke Johnstone, Dr Liam Donaldson, Dr Annika Oksa, and Dr Kathleen O’Connell, among many other leading specialists in surgery and internal medicine.
The nurse stream is equally impressive, with highly experienced veterinary technicians delivering sessions on dental radiography, nutrition, anaesthesia, analgesia, and fluid balance across both general practice and emergency care.
We’re also proud to feature sessions led by Olivia Oginska, Rosie Overfield, and Cat Walker, who will explore important topics such as psychological safety at work, communication skills for euthanasia, and strategies to reduce client complaints.
