Managing Director Dr Fiona Park explains, “We didn’t really have any sort of formal inventory management system. It was basically just having a look at the cupboard and ordering based on what seemed to be there, and we weren’t tracking expiry dates.” They needed “a system that controlled all… aspects of inventory management… not just controlled drugs.”
