AVRA – Supporting Veterinary Receptionists.

The Australian Veterinary Receptionist Association (AVRA) is the professional body representing Veterinary Receptionists across Australia & New Zealand. Our mission is to raise the status and recognition of the veterinary receptionist role. We are committed to achieving this through the support, training, education and development of the reception role, along with the admin team as a whole.

AVRA strongly advocates the importance of the Veterinary Receptionist having adequate training and knowledge to ensure comfort and confidence when executing their role. Reception is the cornerstone of a clinic, managing the daily schedule of the practice, client relations and clinic reputation. Our goal is to demonstrate this importance to the wider veterinary industry in the hopes to improve the standards of welfare and communication within practice for both clients and colleagues.

AVRA Membership

Membership in AVRA is at a practice level. A practice can sign up their team for as little as $499 inc GST per annum which includes 4 members and additional members can be added for $124  inc GST each.

AVRA membership is available for anyone who works in a front-of-house role which may include veterinary nurses, VCA’s or anyone in an admin role.

AVRA membership offers a wealth of training, resources and membership benefits.
