Have you heard of Vettr? They’re a veterinary buying group you may have known as Veterinary Growth Partners but have recently re-branded. This allowed them to reflect, ask questions and focus on what they believed their members and the veterinary community really needed to achieve success.
Our goal is to make our member’s practices better. We know that if our members’ practices are better – more profitable, better systems, better support for owners, managers and their teams – then the whole veterinary profession is lifted up. It all came down to wanting better, and that’s when inspiration struck and the name Vettr was born.
Simply – we want better for veterinary practices and their teams.
Simplistically the name change occurred because we bought out our joint venture partners and now are 100% Australian-owned. Whilst changing our name also gave us the opportunity to reflect on what we believed our professional community needed and wanted.
We removed all assumptions and traditions and started asking our members, REALLY asking them!
We drilled deeper until we felt we had a grasp on their REAL requirements and desires– and what transpired has enabled us to become far more member focussed on all aspects of what and how we now function.
Now we are 100% Australian-owned, just like our members! Our members are independent practices across Australia who want help to make their practices better.
We understand that there is a need in our industry for the functional benefits of a buying group, but we also believe in the emotional benefits as well. We provide tangible results harnessed by the buying power of our collective, access to veterinary-specific growth tools and resources and we can help management save time with our veterinary best practice expertise.
Our members feel connected to our community and the huge wealth of support this brings. Most importantly – as a member, we can help you to reduce stress and gain more time for what you enjoy.
We have removed every possible barrier to joining our community to encourage as much support for independent vets as possible. We remain honest and transparent and always look for areas of opportunity for our members.
We hope the future sees our Vettr membership base growing and continuing to be an amazing wealth of support, shared experiences, and learnings.
As our community grows so will our services and our great membership deals.
Most importantly, we hope to remain nimble and adaptable to ensure our amazing Vettr Team not only keeps up with our professional landscape but stays ahead of what our members require for a happy, healthy and profitable practice.
