Not a ‘romantic’? Valentine’s Day on Wednesday 14 February offers a great opportunity to connect with your clients
1. A picture tells a thousand words
Design your own images using online tools and photos of your team, their pets and/or your patients (as long as you’ve got permission from your clients to use the photos!)
Tips:
- Use Canva to design your own images – it’s super easy to use and free, although the paid version gives you an amazing range of options.
- Visit Pablo & make your own image to share on social media – it’s super easy to use & free!
Once you’ve designed the images, you can:
- Print them up and hand them out to every client that visits your practice on Valentine’s Day (& a few days on either side!)
- Post them on Facebook, Instagram & other social media accounts
- Add a few more special resources (see below) and email a special ‘Valentine’s Day Newsletter’ to all your clients
If you want some more Valentine’s Day images to share with your clients on Social Media visit Pinterest and use the search feature e.g. type in ‘Valentine’s Day and pets’.
If you don’t want to make your own images, feel free to use these:
Some are from Canva Templates & others I’ve put together on Canva. Click on the image to open a high res version, left-click and select ‘save as’ to download.

- Make sure they’re the correct weight so they’re comfortable & can move with ease
- Keep their teeth clean and healthy
- Feed them a high-quality diet
- Provide regular exercise
